The Playhouse Project

On Saturday, August 17th, we will be putting together a playhouse for a local family. This event is a partnership with Habitat for Humanity which will identify a local family who we will build this playhouse for, and at the end of the day that family will come and pick it up. The schedule for the day looks like this:

  • 9:45-10:00, arrival, registration and welcome
  • 10:00-12:00, 2 coats of paint on all kit pieces
  • 12:00-12:30, lunch
  • 12:30-2:30, finish painting and decoration
  • 2:30-4:00, assembly and final touches
  • 4:00-4:30, clean up and group photos
  • 4:30, family arrival, reveal and playhouse load up

We are looking for 5-7 volunteers in the morning and 5-7 in the after-noon. We will have sign ups in church, calling the office or you can sign up by filling out the form below.
