Sufficient Grace

Sufficient Grace Inc., a registered 501c3, is made up of a loving group of people committed to providing love, hope and food to children in need, was launched in 2012. They operate using this mission statement as their guide: To provide children physical nourishment through food, and Spiritual encouragement through kindness and example. Since their launch in 2012, they have provided more than 738,387 meals, and with the donations, that number will grow every week.

Each school year 5500 volunteer hours and support are needed to make sure the program runs smoothly. This ensure that food is stocked, packaged and delivered each week for distribution at the end of the school day in time for a snack and later, dinner.

No child is ever turned away. It is important to us that we support all the children in the household, therefore we provide extra bags for students to take home to a younger sibling who isn’t of school age yet. It is our goal to remove the barriers food insecurity can bring so they are better able to focus on school and have every opportunity to succeed. This in turn helps our communities.

It costs $35.00 to send food home with a child for one month. Based on that figure, it will cost $175,000 for a 10-month school year. Volunteers meet on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Mondays of the month at 1:30pm to pack food bags. We would love you have you join us.
